Just Leaves

Travel the past couple of weekends has left little time for stitching, but I have managed to make some progress on Isabella Johnstone's border.  Just leaves.  They actually stitch up pretty quickly.

The new house is still very much a work in progress.  I did get some lace curtains hung at the slider in the dining room this weekend.  They look very nice and my guy even liked them.  I plan to eventually hang them just a tad lower and put a valance across the top.  I'm thinking yellow gingham.

You'll probably have to click this picture to get a good look at them, but there are dragonflies worked in the lace.  These came from Country Curtains; they are made in the USA and had the extra added attraction of being on sale!

It was snowing when I last looked outside and the snow was starting to accumulate.  I knew the nice weather couldn't last; I'm just glad I didn't have to deal with it as I was driving back from West Virginia.

Hoping everyone has a nice week -- happy stitching!
