Progress

Most of my stitching time this weekend was spent with This Is the Day. Here's where I am:

I'm making myself keep working on this right now because I really want to finish this top section with the alphabet and the background. Alphabets aren't my favorite thing to stitch, but working around the letters is the only thing that keeps the background from driving me right over the edge. This section is a big hurdle and I'm looking forward to getting it behind me and moving on to the less tedious and fiddly parts of the sampler.

I was up later than usual last night, watching the game :-( Bummer that the Steelers lost, but Green Bay was definitely the better team last night. No more football until -- when, August or September? I can stitch undistracted!

Wishing everyone a great week and happy stitching!

Karen, This is a beautiful piece!! Keep pushing yourself and you will soon see the light at the end of the tunnel...I am also working on a sampler right now that I am just dedicating another week to try my best to put a major dent in.....I love the colors in the one you are working on and all that background being filled in is a huge deal!! Nice job, Faye

I just found your blog and will take some time to enjoy your entries. Love the sampler. When I get up at the crack of stupid in the morning I will take a longer look at your blog.
Be always in stitches.
