Sunday Stitching

It's finally summer here in western PA; it was starting to get warm and muggy when I came home from church so I decided it would be a good afternoon to stay in and stitch. Most afternoons are good afternoons to stay in and stitch but some are just better than others. So I worked on And They Sinned. I did a chunk of the grass by the tree on the right yesterday evening, and this afternoon I mostly did the long section on the left that goes through the word "have".
I'm kind of tired of the grass, but it's not as tedious as you'd think it would be. I think that's because of stiching around all the little "obstacles" as I go with it. I have to kind of think ahead and it relieves the monotony of all those little green stitches.

I probably won't get much done on it this week. I'm planning to be at school 4 nights so I doubt that I'll work on it before next Sunday. Getting this out and on the Q-Snaps is almost as much of a project as the stitching, so if I work on anything during the week it'll be something small.

You kidding? Oh man! Summer where you are? My friend, Candace, don't miss PA & she always tell me that she is glad she's out of PA. I Keep it up with green grass. You will get it done in no time. Hope the school wouldn't be too tough on you. ~ Dawn ~

It's looking good Karen. Are you doing the grass in full cross stitch or half cross stitch? I think I have seen it done using 1/2 stitches...does this ring a bell with you?

ATS is looking good, Karen! I think you're right about having the "obstacles" to stitch around. If it were solid it would get boring REALLY fast!
