I got a blog award from Nancy at Cozy Stitching Corner. Thanks Nancy; it's nice to know you enjoy my blog!
Liebster is a German word meaning favorite, dearest or beloved and is awarded by bloggers to newer bloggers with fewer than 200 followers. By accepting this award I:
1. Choose 5 blogs to award the Liebster to.
2. Thank my friend and link back to her.
3. Post the award on my blog and list the bloggers I pass the Liebster on to with their links.
4. Let them know by leaving them a comment.
5. Share 5 random facts about myself that people do not know about me
So the 5 blogs I'm passing the award on to are as follows:
Robin at Stitches and Cats, Oh My
Minnie at All XX's
Stephanie at Stephanie's Stitching and Musings
Denise at Libstitcher
Colleen at Chardonnay Stitcher
Denise and Colleen are members of the Friday night stitch group I attend when I can and they both have new blogs...check them out!
And 5 random facts about me...wow, not so easy but I'll try.
1. My favorite book is Trustee From the Toolroom, by Nevil Shute.
2. I had a poem published in the Junior Beta Club newsletter when I was in junior high (back in the day!)
3. I was on Jeopardy in 1989; I lost but it was a blast!
4. My first counted cross stitch piece was a "diploma" for my sister when she graduated from nursing school.
5. My favorite flower is the violet.
Whew! That was tough!
Have a great week, everyone! Happy stitching!
