Some Stash and One More Comment About Dye Lots

I went stashing today, driving in rain that ranged from a sprinke to a torrential downpour, but at least no thunderstorms, for which I was truly grateful. I had planned to go to one of the shops near me but I ended up at the other as well. Here's what I came home with. Sorry for the picture quality; I took it outside and it turned out darker than I thought it would. From shop # 1 I got the GAST fibers to add to those I'm gathering for Carriage House's Alphabet Blocks, the Wisper for an ornament, some buttons for another ornament and A Stitcher's Journey, from Blackbird Designs. I love the Kildare Place Model School sampler in this. After I left shop #1, I made a quick call to shop #2 to check on an order and learned that it had arrived -- hooray! So I thought, Why not? Cleaning the bath tub could wait another hour. She had the NPI silks for Catherine MacNeil for me, as well as the charms for Robert's Stocking. I did my monthly 3/50 project spending in one fell swoop! Whilst I was at shop #1, browsing through the GAST rack, I thought, hmmm, I wonder what her Pomegranate looks like. Turns out that it looked like the skein on the right, below. The skein on the left was the one I used for the rabbit on Earth Sampler.
Quite a difference. I frogged the pink pomegranate bunny this evening and started re-stitching him with the not-so-pink pomegranate. I think I'm going to like him a lot better.
