Do you keep records of your finishes? We are so lucky to have so many record-keeping tools at our disposal to record our accomplishments. So if you do, what recording methods do you use? What do you think is important to record when you've finished a design?
I've used so many record keeping methods over the years that it's almost laughable. At one point I bought a book specifically designed for keeping track of needlework; the idea was that one would post a picture of the finished project along with the supplies used, the start and end dates, costs, any other information that came to mind. Yeah, right. I don't think I put a thing in the book and I couldn't begin to tell you what ever happened to it. I also used a software program for quite a while -- Organized Expressions, I think it was called. It was a good program, then my computer crashed and the new 'puter had a different version of Windows and I just never got around to upgrading the OE. More recently I've kept a stitching journal, in which I jot down the beginning and end dates of projects along with the supplies used, along with thoughts and comments about the projects -- kind of like a diary...or a blog! Speaking of which, since I began blogging, the stitching journal has slipped because I find myself writing in the blog what I would have written in the journal. I do take pictures of my finished pieces, however -- stitching finished and finished-finished -- so I do have that. Lee had another question in today's post: But now I have a new question - Assuming that the zombies haven't entered your house yet, what needlework would you grab? So that if someone - your husband, children, mother, friends...whoever - came into your house they would know you got out alive because they know that you'd never leave without....(fill in the blank) . Good question and not an easy answer. The first thing that comes to mind is And They Sinned. The second is my stitching bag and however many bags I can scoop up out of the WIP basket. (You have to read her entire post to understand the reference to zombies!) . I have been getting a little bit of stitching done. Here is Earth Sampler progress:
Sorry everything is so run together...Blogger isn't letting me separate my paragraphs like I want to. Does anyone else have that problem and/or a solution?
That's it for tonight...have a great week and happy stitching!

Don't you hate dye lot issues? Ugh! I so hate them! I hope you find a color you like for the poor bunny. It's looking great to me overall!
I just used GAST Pomegranate and it wasn't that bright. But I think your pink bunny is really cute.
