Moon Garden Progress

I got in a couple of hours on Moon Garden this evening and made some decent progress. I checked out the movie "Julie & Julia" from the library this morning, so I skipped the Olympics for a little while and watched that while I stitched. It's a good movie; Meryl Streep is just phenomenal in any role she plays.

I didn't put this back in the WIP basket but left it out with the thought that I might work on it tomorrow. The big chunk of green that I'm stitching on arcs up and ends at the top of the big pink flowers and I'd kind of like to get it finished.

Our temps were warmer today and I was finally able to get the driveway cleaned off -- hooray! I even made progress on the front stoop; the next door neighbor came over with some salt, so maybe that in combination with slightly warmer temps tomorrow will get the ice to a point where I can get through it with the shovel and finally get the stoop clean!
