It Was a Dark and Stormy Night...

We've had a bit of a stormy evening. As I was leaving school, a multi-pronged bolt of lightning zig-zagged across the sky and the lightning was almost constant as I was driving home. I was a little worried about Timothy -- he doesn't do storms -- but he was pretty cool when I got here. There's still some thunder in the area, but this storm has pretty much passed.

I heard on the news this morning that Farrah Fawcett had passed. I was never a big fan of hers but I think she must have been a pretty gutsy lady. And I admire her tremendously for allowing -- even encouraging -- a video to be made of herself and her struggle with cancer, showing the viciousness of the disease. God bless her family.
