A Good Book

I'm taking a quick break for what passes for dinner on school/internship nights, usually a banana and a granola bar of some sort, though tonight it's a slightly stale LaraBar. I eat a late (around 3:30) lunch at work, so the fruit and granola works for dinner.

If you're in search of a good book to read, I highly recommend The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I started it Saturday afternoon and am on page 237 already! It's a story of how a group of residents of the isle of Guernsey in the English Channel made it through the German occupation during World War II; it sounds like it would be grim, but it's actually a delightful tale. There are fewer than 300 pages, so 237 is almost to the end, and it's not a difficult read. A word of caution, though: Once you start it, you might not want to put it down!
