Isabella Johnstone Progress

My stitching time this weekend was spent with Isabella, working my way through the upper case alphabet.  There are still 3 rows of lower case alphabet and numbers, and that border goes all the way around.  But I love the colors, so that makes it an enjoyable stitch.  I'm looking forward to getting to the cow.

The weather here this week has been miserably hot, but a dandy little thunderstorm blew through this evening and cooled things down a wee bit.  We have company coming next weekend - the friends who stood up with us at our wedding; this will be the first time we've seen them since then - so I don't anticipate much stitching getting done this week.

Wishing everyone a great week and happy stitching!

I really like how Isabella is coming along. You know I'm a sucker for samplers!
We finally saw the sun yesterday after days and days of rain. I stayed out in it so long I got burnt but I didn't care. I was just so glad to see it again.
Have a great week!

Beautiful, Karen. I just love this sampler and one day will stitch her ... there is just something about that cow! Look forward to your progress with her.
Enjoy visiting with your friends!

Sometimes a thunderstorm and especially rain is most welcome. We had a bit of a heat wave (for our part of the country it was) but now it's very pleasant.

Isabelle is looking lovely!
