Huge changes are coming and soon I will have a new view from my stitching chair. I interviewed a couple of weeks ago for a medical coding job in Frederick, MD, and I got it! I start there the end of this month, so this coming week will be full of wrapping up things at the current job and beginning the process of moving. I don't anticipate the move happening quickly, but I do hope to be out and to have this house ready to go on the market by the end of the summer.
While I'm looking forward to the new job and to the move and a new life in West Virginia, it's going to take some getting used to. I came to Pittsburgh in 1997, never dreaming that I would be here so long or that it would be so difficult to leave. I've grown very fond of this area and have many good friends here. They will always be a part of my life, though it'll be strange, not seeing them regularly. I ask for your prayers and good thoughts while I go through this transition.
Here's a progress pic of This Is the Day. The house is almost finished!
I took this picture of the baby birds last weekend:
You can see them better if you click on it and enlarge it. I didn't go down this weekend, so I won't be surprised if they are fledged and gone by the time I get down there next week.
Wishing everyone a good week and happy stitching!
